Case Study: Valley Medical Center Foundation

Valley Medical needed an update for all the headshots on its website. They wanted a consistent look, that was up-to-date, and reflected a professional appearance that still reflects that they were friendly and approachable. They chose a simple grey backdrop for all the headshots.

Three on-site sessions on multiple dates were required to fit in with everyone’s busy schedule, including members of the board. A professional headshot studio was set up in a conference room in the administrative building. Sessions were scheduled to allow time for everyone to relax, take several initial photos, and review together on a laptop computer to see which expressions were best and fine-tune a few final shots.

After each session, the three best images per person were sent to the Chief Events & Marketing Officer for review and selection of each final image. The selected images were edited to remove blemishes, a bit of smoothing, stray hairs, bags under eyes, whiten teeth, and add a bit of polish.

The whole process was completed quickly and final headshot were posted to the company website.
